U Bend Support Jack

Recently had a problem with my kitchen sink. Investigation shows that the entire weight of the pipe is on a compression joint which slowly over the years opened the joint upso a quick design and behold the support jack. It sits beneath the waste pipe ubend and cups the ubend so that it can't work its way loose. height adjustment is done by the threaded base.
