Ultralight 2X AA Battery Holder (HALF THE WEIGHT)

As part of my journey of creating an ultralight solar powered model car, I came up with this model! When it is fully assembled with everything, it weighs a little over 4g, HALF the weight of a normal AA battery case. BOM: Wires Aluminum Foil Tape/copper tape/metal tape 1 3D printed Battery Holder Thin CA Glue/Superglue Instructions: Print case Apply a strip of aluminum foil tape to the unwired side. Make sure that this connects both batteries. Attach 2 pieces of aluminum foil tape to the other end. Make them wrap around the 3D print to the wire strain relief. Ensure the two pieces are separate. Glue the wire into the strain relief, making sure not to cover the aluminum contacts with glue Now, insert the wires and spread the copper strands around the foil. Stick a piece of Aluminum foil tape over the contacts and copper strands. Make sure that the 2 pieces don't short out. Insulate the bare aluminum foil tape. I did this by painting over in paint pen, but electrical tape/paste would work better. Finished!
