Description

The tolerances should allow it to be used with needles that have the metal or the rubber handle. With needles that have a <20mm handle and a needle length of 40mm (without the handle) there is no need to cut the needles. The files contain the model that works with the IMS Triple basket which is one of the deepest La Pavoni Baskets. If you want it to work with a more shallow Baskets you can decrease the “needle depth” parameter in the linked Onshape document and export the Base. These are the needles I used: https://www.medplus24.de/Akupunkturnadeln-TeWa-PB-Type-von-asia-med-0-25-x-40-mm I used 3x10mm screws that were not countersunk 12mm length should work as well. Here the link to the public Onshape model : https://cad.onshape.com/documents/4976192e865c14b68584813c/w/655721404e038d6a1c58cb76/e/41ed6d66a73e19627471fc51?configuration=Basket_Lip_OD%3D0.069%2Bmeter%3BCountersunk_Screws%3Dfalse%3BList_EfF5Ttk6DWIIkI%3DDefault%3BList_O7hmCPOhqOm7v6%3DDefault%3BList_UCny2WRGjfZaHP%3DDecent__26_5mm_%3BList_fkT4aYUcoDDi6w%3D_5x2mm_Magnets%3BNeedle_Depth%3D0.025%2Bmeter%3BNeedle_Handle_Hole%3D0.0019%2Bmeter%3BRotateForPrinting%3Dfalse&renderMode=0&uiState=653432f753e9290283e0e8fe Changing the Configuration works but magnet holes need to be added manually and the model is now too small for 5mm magnets. The needle handle hole configuration is broken. The option to use Countersunk screws throws some errors but surprisingly still works. If you print this I would appreciate any feedback and would love to see some makes added to this Project.
AI Analysis: This is a mechanical part designed for precision machining, specifically a pre-mill tool for the Umikot V2 system. It features a cylindrical structure with multiple circular components and a central opening, likely used to guide and position materials during the milling process. The design includes a red and white color scheme with visible screws and a textured surface for stability.
