Unger Window Cleaner Angle Adapter

I needed to adapt my Unger window cleaning tools to reach into a very narrow spot. I designed an angled adapter so I could get the tools into the narrow space, but maintain a good tool to window angle. This is my initial design and it has worked for me. It can use some improvements and that may happen over time. I have included a 30 and 40 degree angle adapter. This adapter works on Unger tools that have a two part handle. The adapter is placed between the two parts and imparts an angle to the tool relative to the handle. A screw is removed from the factory handle allowing the parts to be separated. That screw is used to attach the adapter to the tool and a new 1.5 inch #10 machine screw along with a #10 nut is used to attach the handle to the adapter. The nut is retained in a small recess in the adapter. You will probably need to "trim" the female end to get a good tight fit. The center post may be a bit too long. I printed this with 5 layers of outer walls and 50% fill for extra strength. You will need supports. It may also be helpful to orient it so the layer lines don't go directly across the cross section.
