Description
Give your spare monitor hardware a second life! This heavy-duty adapter allows you to mount a standard 32mm C-mount microscope boom arm onto either a repurposed LG Monitor Stand or any standard VESA 75/100 monitor arm. Whether you’ve upgraded your monitor to a desk arm and have the original LG stand left over, or you want to mount your microscope on a gas-spring arm for ultimate flexibility, this adapter is the solution. Dual-Purpose Compatibility LG Quick-Release Interface: Precision-engineered to fit the proprietary mounting plate found on many LG monitor stands. Note: To ensure a safe connection, the adapter must be secured to the LG plate with two 3.9 x 13mm screws at the bottom. (Note: 13mm is slightly long but works well; you may use a shorter screw if preferred). VESA 75 & 100: The backplate features pre-aligned mounting holes for both 75mm x 75mm and 100mm x 100mm VESA patterns. This allows you to bolt it onto any standard monitor arm or wall mount. Design Highlights 32mm High-Rigidity Column: Optimized for standard 32mm (1.26") microscope boom arms. The large diameter ensures a vibration-free image, even at high magnification. Heavy-Duty Construction: Built to withstand the torque and leverage of a fully extended microscope arm. Tested Print Settings (Elegoo Centauri Carbon) This model has been field-tested and printed with the following setup for maximum durability: Material: ASA (High stiffness and UV/heat resistance. Recommended over PLA to prevent "creep" under load). Printer: Elegoo Centauri Carbon. Build Plate: Textured PEI Plate (for excellent ASA adhesion). Slicer Profile: Used the "Strong" default settings in the Elegoo slicer. Supports: Enabled (necessary for the mounting flanges and internal geometry). Files Included STL/3MF: Ready to slice and print. STEP File: Provided for easy remixing. Use this in Onshape, Fusion 360, or SolidWorks if you need to adjust the column diameter for a different arm. PDF Drawing: Technical dimensions for reference.
