Description
Note: This print uses the mounting pegs and slots from the Universal Peg Board System by AimeBuilder. You will need a total of four of AimeBuilder's pegs, which I've included in the files here as well. These brackets can be used in conjunction with the Universal Peg Board Peg System to mount a 180° capable laptop to a standard pegboard. In my shop, it allows me to mount a small Dell Chromebook vertically, so that I can pull up PDFs, browse the web, or watch videos without taking up any workbench space. The print is designed to hide a fair sized power adapter and cord behind it for a tidy mounting solution. The design can account for a variety of laptop widths simply by mounting the brackets closer together or farther apart on your pegboard. The mount is designed for a laptop depth of no more than 17mm (or .66"), but if there is enough demand, I can upload a version that supports more depth as well. As always, feel free to modify the files to match your own needs. I've included two versions, one with a set of accessory slots for power and USB that match my model of laptop, and one that does not have any slots included, so that you can cleanly customize it to suit your needs. The two brackets should be printed as oriented in real life, and should require no supports. I printed using PETG, and recommend .2mm or .3mm layer height, 5% infill, and at least 3 wall perimeters for strength.
