UPDATE - Vertical Laptop Stand / Take 3!

UPDATE : I had issues printing the honeycomb when the two pieces were not aligned 100% the same. Caused an issue when I inserted the 1/8" rods (not being perpendicular) So, I added three 1/8" holes that would always print the same place, no matter how the forms were laid out on the bed. Big honeycomb, small, anything else, alignment issues, no more worries! I printed my latest using 15% infill and 3 shells. I find it a bit more ascetically pleasing. I like to keep the “bed” side to the inside of the stand since the finish is smoother. the bed side also (ever so slightly) mushes the sharp corners of the honeycomb so the outside should contain the raw print surface. (Also, don't forget the rubber feet!!! Bought a few dozen from B-ma-zon and they work fantastic from keep the stand from sliding around the desk when wrangle the laptop!) This is a remix of of my remix of ChiMuFeng's vertical laptop stand. Hex fill @ 20%, 3 shells and no top/bottom. I used 1/8" metal or plastic rods to keep the stands in place and added a few rubber feet to the bottom to keep things from sliding. Looks great and works even better. The shorter front tabs make getting the laptop in/out a bit easier. The laptop only uses the first bit of the tab to lock in place the rest is otherwise just a waste of materials. I also included a “chopped” version of the stand. No back end material so if you have a front heave laptop it will work just fine.
