USS Benchyprise - Star Trek Enterprise 3D Benchy

Space. The final frontier. This is the USS Benchyprise NCC-1701-D, the 5th Benchy remix to bear the name (ok, ok, I know there have been more, it's just part of the joke….) This model was based on Brendon's remix of Martin's stellar (heh) Enterprise-D model, kitbashed by yours truly with the immortal and now public domain 3D Benchy. Both legendary ships in their own right, I hope this combination of the two finds a home on your shelf. The saucer section of the Enterprise D is very large, so this Benchyprise is very front heavy. You will either have to add some weight to the back end, glue the whole thing to the table, or just print the accompanying stand for the model to rest on. It won't sit flat on its own, even if you manually add 100% infill to the back. I'll update the model if I come up with a better/more elegant solution for this. Printing Notes: You will need supports for this model. I printed it flat on the build plate (traditional Benchy orientation), but you could also try printing it rotated 45 degrees back with organic supports. I think this could work really well and might give better surfaces underneath the saucer. If you try this, let me know how it goes!
