Description
USSF Pinetar, registry number Star Ship, SS-76. Pinetar is the ship that pokes you needlessly, and sticks to you like the sapper it is. It's not a shuttlecraft, it's not a light cruiser, it's a multi-role torpedo bomber, reconnaissance observer, and medium bomber spacecraft. It is influenced heavily on US Naval aircraft of the Pacific Theatre, such as the TBF Avenger; hard times call for harder aircraft. Can deck land on a carrier deck, or dock land on a space station. Has a 360 degree designating laser turret topside, and a conventional ballistic auto-cannon with a 165 degree tail gunner range. It's Northrup Grumman Twin Ion propulsion engines with full pitch and yaw thruster control, helps it out-maneuver in the, "relatively chilly" vacuum of space. Crew of three spacemen (don't snicker or your butt will be a vending machine for candy bars), with similar thermal, radiological protective space suit as NASA equips, but with optimized telecommunications, thermal imaging, and A.I. encrypted team-speak in their space helmets, and located on the left wrist pad or, "Com Command". Big thing, must scale up to at least 5000% as the model is a pint sized pinetar to say the least. You can say, it's gonna be huuuuuuge, but also 40K sized. 2D to 3D image; 3d image to 3d print; 3d print to flight ready, soon* First time trying a 2d image in AI, then 3d scanned, and now hopefully printed. Hope to get a picture of the 3d print right away. If I like how this came out, I'll make variations on this theme, and try to draw similarities to the Douglas SBD Dauntless , Curtiss SB2C Helldiver, and my personal favorite the PBY Catalina float plane.
