Description
This is parametric version of awesome model Vacuum hose adapters by @Max. He has parametric model for OpenSCAD, but since I am scad noob, I made f3d version for Fusion 360 Model is made from scratch but design and default values are the same as original file. STL files here are just 2 examples, use f3d file to customize to your needs. Here is a description of user parameters (description also in image): innerOrOuterBigger - this is a sort of boolean parameter via which you select if you want printed part to go over or inside attached part (the bigger side). 1 means your existing hose is inserted into printed part (ID) -1 means your printed part is inserted into existing hose (OD) innerOrOuterSmaller - the same but for the smaller part on the other end lengthBigger - length of the bigger part (default 40mm) lengthSmaller - length of the smaller part (default 40mm) lengthAdaptor - length of connecting middle part (default 20mm) diameterBigger - this is the diameter in the middle of adapter part, it is either inner or outer diameter based on boolean mentioned above. You measure this on your existing hose either as the outer diameter and put your printed part over it or you measure it as inner diameter and put your printed part inside it diameterSmaller - same for the smaller part wallThickness - self explanatory, thickness of the wall for whole adapter. Default 2mm taper - this is how diameter of the parts of adapter change, default value is 3mm, that means diameter is 1,5 mm less on one end and 1,5 mm more on the other end stopperThickness - how wide is stopper part on the bigger end. If you want to omit stopper completely, just suppress extrusion called “Stopper extrude” (penultimate extrusion)
