Description

This design is based on the model from fl_dutch. It is very beneficial, when you want to have a reference shunt in your Victron LYNX System but don't have a VE.CAN port available (since the original Victron LYNX Shunt 500 only provides a VE.CAN interface which I don't have on my MP2-GX device) I just modified it a little bit to fit my needs: included a fuse holder into the design (optional to use, in case you don't need it you can still use a continuous connection) base equipped with M8 screw holders for the fuse raised the cover in height (for larger fuses with higher breaking capacity) strengthened the bore holes in the cover added a small gap in the cover for power supply cable (via the RJ11 Victron cable to other LYNX components) For connection of base and cover I used M3x30 DIN912 screws and M3 inserts. For the fuse holder I used M8x20 DIN931 screws. Parts were printed in PETG for stability/durability. I used 10mm x 30mm copper bus bars instead of 8mm x 30mm and thus could not use the "lynx bar spacer" from fl_dutch. In case you have 8mm x 30mm copper bus bars available, I would still recommend adding these "lynx bar spacers" for safety reasons.
