Description

This is my take for read umbilical modification for Voron V2.4 printers. It has clean design, easy instalation and everything is put together with M3 and M5 screws. Print with standard Voron settings, parts are placed in right orientation for printing and for 10mm diameter cable or corrugated hose. Inside of Main Body is space big enough to fit up to 3-pin JST PH2.0 connector for easy disconnection of endstop switch. If you need diferrent diameter, please customise this file using Fusion 360 and its “change parameters” (see screenshot). Before powering on the printer, make sure, that you have installed Y Bumper to the right part of gantry. Set it up to activate endstop switch before end of Y travel. Then check endstop function by hand moving gantry. Required hardware: 4x M3x8mm BHCS or SHCS screw 2x M5x8mm BHCS or SHCS screw 2x M3 Threaded Insert (M3x5x4, Voron standard) Edit 2023/03/26: Added Chain tilt block. This is quick and dirty fix for problems with umbilical cable catching behind Z cable chain. This block is intended to be printed in 2 copies to tilt whole Z chain to the left. Also move original Z chain stopper as far to the left as you can. Optional hardware for chain tilt block: 2x M3x8mm BHCS or SHCS screw 2x M3 Threaded Insert (M3x5x4, Voron standard)
AI Analysis: This is a mechanical part designed for a medical or automotive application, specifically a rear umbilical connection system. It features a robust construction with red and black components, including a central hub and mounting points for secure attachment. The design includes a canbus interface, indicating it is part of a larger system for vehicle or medical equipment.
