Description

Many technological marvels were created before the "Age of Darkness" and subsequent crusades. The God Machines known as titans went through various iterations. As some forge worlds created ever bigger and more powerful titans, others focused on combating these with smaller units. One such unit was the Werewolf titan, a more powerful variant of the more common Warhound Scout Titan. Dubbed a "Heavy Scout Titan", an upgraded void shield and a slightly larger frame housing a bigger powerplant allowed this titan to weather more punishment. Intended to take on much bigger opponents, the tactic employed was to avoid detection ambushing the bigger prey and engage in mele combat thus bypassing the more powerful void shields of the bigger target. The Werewolf had enlarged power claws that almost matched the Warlord titan in power. These were intended to shred the legs of the target titan. When executed correctly, the attack would fell the intended victim allowing the Werewolf to attack the main cockpit killing the nerve center. A Caustic Expectarator, a likely precursor to the Death Guard Plague Spitter, on the back of its carapace allowed the Werewolf to fend off infantry. This weapon could also be used to aid with amputating of the target's legs and melting the cabling of the target titan. All while saving the engine to power its movement, void shields, and most importantly its 2 oversized power claws. An early version of the reflex shield technology housed in the snout canines helped the Werewolf avoid detection until it could strike. Chemical and smoke launchers further interfered with enemy auspex.
