Description
I personally found the adjustable spoolholder for the lack enclosure extremly handy, but the wheels where (for my taste) too loud. So I completly overengineered some really silent wheels. U get the best results with flexible filament, but the pla-variant is still almost unhearable. I used skateboard bearings in the design. They are also known as 608 bearings and u should be able to get them in every skateboardshop. Mounting the parts with the bolt and nut is optional. Use m3 bolts that are at least 18mm long. If you find it difficult to mount the bearings into the parts, i have made a tool for that; https://www.printables.com/model/846075-608-bearing-tool If you have any ideas how to make this even better, feel free to contact me or create a remix. I hope you like it! Update 7.11.24; In an earlier version of the description I have accidentally written that I used m4 bolts, but I actually used m3 bolts. I have added parts that can be used with M4 bolts. So now you can choose if you want to use m3 or m4 bolts. Keep in mind that the m4 bolts need to be at least 20mm long. The parts and gcodes are marked if they are for use with m3 or m4 bolts and nuts. Thanks to YgramY for bringing this to my attention.
