Description

This collection of setup blocks include sizes for common plywoods. Plywood is usually 1/32" narrower than the nominal measurement. Example: 3/4" plywood is usually 23/32" due to sanding that occurs after the ply are glued together. These setup blocks all have different thicknesses, but the length and width are consistent, two inches and one inch respectively. I find these to be the most useful in my workshop. This makes creating offsets for drawers, shelves and other objects very easy without using measuring devices. I printed multiple of the 1/8" and 1/16" blocks as these are what I use to set the reveals around drawers and inset cabinet doors. The four plywood sizes included are: 23/32" (3/4" plywood), 15/32" (1/2" plywood), 7/32" (1/4" plywood), 3/32" (1/8" plywood) Other sizes included: 3/4", 1/2", 7/16", 3/8", 5/16", 1/4", 3/16", 1/8", 1/16" I designed these in OpenSCAD, so a parametric build file exists. If I receive enough interest, I will post it as well.
