Description

Convert a kingblade-style penlight into a pistol shape. The bottom buttons are now moved to the trigger. Spinning isn't as great as it could be, but I'm working on it. Uploading the STLs now so that others can print these out for upcoming cons. THEORETICALLY does not require soldering, but you may want to solder longer wires from the battery to the main board. (Mine snapped off during assembly so I did it anyway) I used the LEWTEMI light sticks off of Amazon here: amazon.com/gp/product/B0FY6JH8J3/ Other brands may or may not work due to differences in molds and screw placement. Screws used: 2x M3x25 countersunk screws 1x M3x16 countersunk screw 2x the penlight's included screws (I believe they're M1.7x6 self-tapping screws?) Printing: PLA will do. Print with the insides of the halves facing down and the bottoms of the buttons facing down. Assembly: Disassemble the penlight Unscrew the blade Remove the chrome ring Open the battery compartment Unscrew the two M1.7-ish screws holding the penlight halves together Fitting the electronics 5) Take the right side of the printed wotaglock 6) Insert the mainboard with the plastic lens into one of the three grooves in the "barrel" (the further forward the better, but the battery wire may be too short 7) Insert the button board into the slot near the trigger with the pushbuttons facing forward and vertically arranged and the short side facing to the right half of the gun Assembly 8) Insert the plastic buttons into the holes at the trigger 9) Carefully put the two halves together, making sure the button board slots into the left half of the gun 10) Screw the two halves together, with the M3x25 screws on the top and the M3x16 screw on the bottom. 11) Screw the back of the penlight handle onto the back of the gun using the M1.7-ish screws that came with the penlight.
