Description
My son frequently grabs box end wrenches from his Packout tool chest, to put in his tool bag, for quick HVAC or electrical jobs and asked me to make a way for them to stay together while in chest or bag. This design is in answer to that request. The holder comes in two heights, short and tall. They both use a press fit 1/4"-20 hex bolt. The short one does well with a two or two and a quarter inch bolt. The tall one with about a three or three and a quarter inch. There is an included file for a wingnut. I have found that it prints fine in some brands and is tight in others. This is easily remedied by running a 1/4-20 tap through. I also recommend putting a tiny bit of paste wax, like Renaissance Wax on the starting threads of the bolt. It makes starting the wingnut easier since it reduces the plastic on metal drag. For filament, I prefer to use PETG or TPU for this though any should work.
