Description

I required a BTT EBB36 mount and strain relief for the Wristwatch BMG Extruder. The original model was used as a base, the Wristwatch Back model was overlayed to find out where the new holes needed to be. Additionally, standoffs were added to the bottom to give support for the BTT EBB36 to prevent it twisting down into motor screws. The standoffs were created using open area from the BTT EBB36 CAD model. Required Hardware: -2 x M3x5x4 Heat set Inserts (for EBB36 to mount) -2 x M3 x8-10mm screws (to fasten EBB36 to this mount) Additional Hardware: -2 x M3 screws longer than original build of Wristwatch. (I required 1 x 10mm and 1 x 20mm to go through top the motor) -2 x Motor mount standoffs. Initially I had unused standoffs from a Mini Afterburner build, and test motor. The part was from the Voron O repository Strain_Relief_Spacers_x2.STL. For my final build I am using Siboor's motor (Siboor-14STH20-1004A) with a total height of 21mm. The following spacer were used: https://www.printables.com/model/1461563-ebb36-spacer-18mm-variant Original work for long standoffs from: https://www.printables.com/model/801329-ebb36-spacer Print instructions Use Voron Specifications. Brim is recommended. Lay model flat, if upload isn't in correct orientation. Assembly -Install Heat set into mount -assemble Wristwatch BMG, but allow for longer screw so they go through the motor mount holes -screw on EBB spacer to screw sticking through motor -Place mount over the spacers, and fasten with M3 screws **If concerned Kapton tape could be used over the screw heads, or hot glue to the under part of the EBB36. **Please make sure you mount everything correctly for your build, and that there is proper clearance. Update Dec 22/25: Added a 15mm extended model with an extra row of zip-tie loops. I noticed with my custom cables the shorter model did grab the outer wire casing.
