Description
This model can be used, if you only have longer than original length linear rods, or the lengths are not exact. Remix of the X-Axis with belt tensioner by Boogie Features Both Motor holder and idler holder come in two different variations with different amounts of additional length. Additional max length from 6mm to 19mm (use original motor holder for 6mm) Fine adjustment for length using m3 screws (can be locked with additional m3 nut) Optional holder for Z-Axis Endstop on top or bottom of the motor holder (18mm hole distance) Of course the belt tensioner and bearing mounts from the original model still work Assembly and print settings Choose the idler and motor end parts depending on how much longer your X-Axis rods are than the original (370mm). E.g. for 380mm rods use the +6mm Motor end and +7mm idler end to get 383mm available length and some room for the adjustment using the screw. Refer to the original guide by boogie for assembly instructions and needed hardware: https://www.printables.com/model/56241-x-axis-revision-with-belt-tensioner I printed it from ABS, but PETG should also work. Additional Hardware for length adjustment 2x M3 Hex nylock nuts 2x M3 screws (length based on what fits well, but roughly 10 mm to 20 mm will work Additional Hardware for optional Z-axis endstop 1x M3 Hex nylock nut 2x 8mm M3 screws
