Description
This is an XBox Controller Stand for table edges and walls, based the awesome 3d-scanned design by @agepbiz. This design was modular because my kids will find some way to break it, so I wanted to be able to reprint the breakable parts with quickly and easily. Table Mounting Standard Method (stronger, more modular) Print the following part (Pins and Base are only needed for table mounting): Holder Bracket Mount Bracket Base Pin (x3) The 3 Pins go between the wall Bracket Mount and Bracket Base to add support without making printing extra-difficult. Required Materials Wood screws or drywall anchor screws, etc, that is 4.76mm (~ 3/16") or smaller (1x for wall mount, 3x for table mount). Two M3x6mm (up to M3x10mm) button head cap screws to join the two bracket parts. Two M3x5x4mm heatset inserts Alternate Method (no heatsets, M3 screws or pins) If you don't want to deal with heatset inserts, M3 screws and 3 printed pins, you can print the Bracket Base Combined which combined both parts into a single printed part, although it won't be as strong with the screws trying to split the layers apart. Wall Mounting Print the Holder and Bracket Mount . Print Settings See the Slicer Orientation screenshot for the best orientation. I printed mine in ABS with tree supports, although I would recommend PLA to prevent warping on the housing. You can also print the Mounting Bracket out of TPU. It will still mount securely, and the bracket can be printed on its back without supports, and will be basically unbreakable! Revisions 2025-10-30 - Holder.stl removed material from back to allow larger screw heads protruding from mounting bracket 2025-10-28 - Initial Version
