YAAF – Yet Another Antivibration Feet This is a functional remix of the original anti-vibration feet for the Adventurer 5 series printers. The design fixes several practical issues from the original model and improves vibration damping performance. The goal was simple: make the feet easier to install, structurally reliable, and more effective at isolating vibrations. Improvements Over the Original Fixed top clearance issue The upper edge previously interfered with the printer body and made installation difficult. This geometry has been corrected so the feet install cleanly. Fixed structural connection The section that holds the mounting screw did not properly connect to the rest of the model. This has been redesigned to ensure proper structural integrity. Increased height The feet are taller, which provides: improved vibration damping additional clearance under the printer space to place small items or accessories Adjusted width The width was slightly reduced to maintain flexibility and elasticity after increasing the height. Compatibility Compatible with: Adventurer 5M Adventurer 5M Pro Adventurer 5X AD5M and AD5M Pro use identical feet . Special Recommendation for AD5X On the AD5X the right side can be significantly heavier due to external filament spools. The weight difference can reach 4–8 kg . For best vibration isolation: Option 1 (recommended) Print left feet with softer TPU (e.g. TPU 75A ) Print right feet with stiffer TPU (e.g. TPU 95A ) Option 2 Use the same TPU Increase infill on the right feet to 20–25% Print Settings Material: TPU / Flex only Recommended settings: Infill: very low (≈5%) Layer height: 0.2 mm Nozzle: 0.4 mm The low infill helps maintain flexibility and improves vibration damping.
