Description

Mount base for the ZE08-CH2O formaldehyde sensor and optional Buzzer module designed to be used with the 3D Printer Emission Sensor Array (SensorBox V2) . The original design attached the sensor directly to the carrier module using double-sided tape, but since the bottom of the sensor houses ICs and electronic components, I designed this mount to raise it slightly for better protection. The sensor is secured with two M1.4 self-tapping screws , while the base itself is attached to the carrier with double-sided tape. I also included an additional version for both the sensor and a Passive Buzzer Module . The buzzer is useful for providing status notifications, such as connection/disconnection alerts or warnings when the sensor reaches a certain level. It is secured to the base using an M2 self-tapping screw . For a more compact installation, you may need to replace the bent Dupont pins with direct-wired connections. The buzzer's VCC accepts a voltage range from 3.3V to 5V, so it can be connected directly to either a 3.3V or 5V pin. For the signal wire it can connect to any available GPIO pin (GPIO36 in my setup). VCC → 3.3v or 5v I/O → GPIO36 GND → GND If you're interested in using a buzzer for notifications, you can check out my previous DIY RF Wall Outlet with Custom Functions for an example YAML script. Since this design uses very small screws, the provided holes may shrink slightly during printing. To ensure a proper fit and prevent the part from cracking, you may need to use a drill bit to slightly expand the holes before securing the screws. NOTE: At first, I tried mounting the PMS module on top, but there wasn’t enough clearance when attaching it to the shell. The module overlapped with the button support section. It should fit fine with the PMS7003, but be sure to check the clearance before installing the sensor.
